Moving from Kyber to Tatsu
Kyber is now the new Tatsu. Kyber has a new home and it is now called Tatsu.
What needs to be done?
If you are currently have Kyber installed, you only need to optionally update the app name for your workspace. This is not necessary but it will result in a less confusing experience.
Nothing needs to be done if you do not currently have Kyber installed in any of your workspaces.
If you have installed Kyber in the past and you plan to re-install the app to your Slack workspace, you do not have to anything right now. Your application data will be there when you re-install the app if you were on a paying plan.
Updating the app name
If you currently have Kyber installed, you will likely want to update the app name to Tatsu. This is a quick and easy process.
First, visit your workspace’s Tatsu app page in your workspace settings.
(Please note this will take you to your last workspace in Slack, which may not be where Tatsu is installed. You may need to switch workspace in the top right corner of the page.)
Lastly, scroll down to the “Bot User” section and update the “Bot User” name field to “Tatsu”.
That’s it!
How has pricing changed?
The pricing will not change for existing Kyber users.
However, I do plan on changing the pricing for new users in the upcoming months as I make it more valuable. If you do not have the new Tatsu installed, I would suggest doing so now if you have planned to as prices will go up.
What about my data?
All of your data is still on our data servers just like before. Nothing needs to be done on your end.
